About Dr. Caitlin Stell
Caitlin Stell, Psy.D.
As a clinical psychologist, I believe in the inner strength and wisdom that exists within each of us. As your therapist, I honor your own expertise of yourself and we work together to create a safe and compassionate environment that allows you to achieve personal growth and healing.
My clinical approach is integrative and holistic, and I work to address all facets of your unique individuality. I believe there is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy and I utilize a variety of evidence-based practices to meet your specific therapeutic needs such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy.
I specialize in working with adults of all ages, including older adults, who are experiencing difficulties such as depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, aging, phase of life changes and adjustment, chronic pain and health conditions, identity exploration, and grief/loss.
I earned my Doctorate from Pace University in Clinical Psychology. My clinical experience includes working with individuals in a variety of clinical settings such as residential treatment facilities, outpatient offices, and community mental health centers.
