Caitlin Stell, Psy.D.

As a clinical psychologist, I strive to create a trusting and compassionate space for you to do the work that allows healing, growth, and change to occur.

I utilize an integrative approach that includes evidence-based interventions tailored to your individual needs and view therapy as a collaborative, interactive process.  Some modalities I incorporate in my work are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic, mindfulness-based practices, and EMDR.

My clinical experience spans over a decade and includes working with individuals in a variety of clinical settings such as residential treatment facilities, inpatient mental health hospitals, university counseling centers, outpatient clinics, and community mental health centers.  I earned my Doctorate from Pace University in Clinical Psychology.  I am currently licensed to practice in New York, Connecticut, and Colorado.

I specialize in working with adults of all ages, including older adults, who are experiencing difficulties such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, and grief/loss. I also have extensive experience supporting clients with identity exploration, aging, phase of life changes and adjustment.  I am also a LGBTQIA+ affirming psychologist.

Providing Virtual Therapy Across Connecticut, New York, and Colorado.
